Since we don't have a time-frame yet, we are just setting up a skeleton structure to prepare Atlanta for the decision. Please go to Twitter.com and follow user GLBTATL and in the event that a decision is announced we will mobilize. (Lots of stuff is TBD! Please stay tuned.)

National Day of Decision Facebook Group

Today, the California Supreme Court issued a ruling that allows hate and discrimination to be written into its State Constitution.

The ruling has made us Second Class Citizens in the least likely of places. Join GLBTATL at Atlanta's Piedmont Park at 5:30pm — to protest.

Be there, to continue to make our voice be heard. Equality. Now. 5:30pm — until we are HEARD! LOUD and CLEAR!

(Please enter at 14th St. & Piedmont -- it should be the most MARTA-friendly entrance.)

Let's rally the troops, and get EVERYONE we know to turn out! Work the phones. Work the net. Rally straight allies, and WE SHOULD EXPECT all of the MAYOR HOPEFULS will turn up and show their support. (At this time, they have all been contacted.) Bring your signs. Bring your whistles. This is a grass roots rally, so let's make it happen!

Work Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and everything you can to bring out people.

Send a message like:

Do you think you can help us rally some people at Piedmont Park @ or around 5:30pm on Tuesday? (The CA Supreme Court has allowed anti-gay bias to be written into its State Constitution.)

Ask people to bring whistles, etc. and, basically, make noise?

Hopefully,

Talk, chat, e-mail, call, tweet, whatever to anyone you know in Atlanta who supports EQUALITY! There's not much time, so get to buzzing.

Thank you to SoVo.com for helping to get the word out! Everyone PLEASE make sure to network as much as possible today!
