Rally in Celebration or Protest at 5:30pm on the Day of the Decision
WHAT IS IT?
When the CA Supreme Court announces their decision on Proposition 8, we must act! We are calling you to join us for a rally in celebration or protest on the day of the decision. Protests will occur nationwide and our voices will be heard! We hope that we will come together in celebration, but must know that even in celebration we have many more battles to win and need to unite on the day of decision in one loud voice.

CELEBRATION
Location if REPEALED:
20th & K Streets
Time: 5:30 pm
Description: Expect lots of music, entertainers, Dancing in the streets at 5:30 pm.

NOTE NEW EARLIER TIME!
PROTEST
Location if NOT Repealed:
5:30 pm Equality Action NOW along with other Sacramento orgs fighting for true equality, will lead a march from Gay and Lesbian Center to the Capitol (West Steps) where we will have speakers, open mic, sign making, and tables to sign up and get involved in upcoming actions. Then, we'll march around the capitol and return for more open mic. Sign up to volunteer on D-Day - info@EAN.

Meet In The Middle
Meet in the Middle 4 Equality
When:
The first Saturday after D-Day

Description:
A huge statewide event called Meet in the Middle in Fresno.
Meet at the Gay and Lesbian Center at 7:30 am the Saturday after D-Day for a group trek to Fresno. We will be having the Equality Bus to Fresno, and carpooling - all decked out in Equality signs. That will start at 1 pm at their city hall. There will be a group of protesters including Dolores Huerta, marching from Selma CA at 8 am to Fresno City Hall.
RESERVE NOW (only 45 seats) your seat on the bus - Events@EAN (Angela) she will set you up with your bus seat. Let Angela know if you will be carpooling to Fresno.
