Rally in Celebration or Protest at 6:00pm on the Day of the Decision

WHAT IS IT?

When the CA Supreme Court announces their decision on Proposition 8, we must act! We are calling you to join us for a rally in celebration or protest on the day of the decision. Protests will occur nationwide and our voices will be heard! We hope that we will come together in celebration, but must know that even in celebration we have many more battles to win and need to unite on the day of decision in one loud voice.

If Prop 8 is upheld:

- RALLY at 6pm, Tuesday at the Santa Barbara Courthouse,
Anapamu & Anacapa
- PROTEST MARCH at Noon on Saturday, May 30 starting at the Santa Barbara Courthouse (bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes).

If Prop 8 is overturned:

- CELEBRATION at 6pm at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, Anapamu & Anacapa

NOTE:we are encouraging people to wear their most appropriate political t-shirts/buttons and make signs supporting equality. Pickup free poster boards at Pacific Pride Foundation’s office - 126 E. Haley St, Suite A-11 in Santa Barbara.
